According to teachers who attended the virtual and on campus STEM-Up program 4.0. 2022, the PD have been extremely beneficial for their overall growth as a teacher. Feedback from these teachers indicated the STEM-up Professional Development program provided several hands-on experiments that were useful in helping them learn how to effectively implement inquire- based techniques in their classroom to illuminate science concepts in their SBAE curriculum. Furthermore, prior to attending the Professional Development Program it was found that teachers lacked confidence in not only teaching science concepts but utilizing tools such as a microscope that could assist their students in making deeper connections in the subject area and with concepts from other science classes. After attending the conference, we found teachers were more prepared and more confident to teach and use resources (microscope) in their classrooms.
